ABSTRACTThis study evaluates the dissipation of terbuthylazine, metolachlor, and mesotrione at different depths in soils with contrasting texture. The field trial was conducted at the Padua University Experimental Farm, north-east Italy. The persistence of three herbicides was studied in three different soil textures (clay soil, sandy soil, and loamy soil) at two depths (0–5 and 5–15 cm). Soil organic carbon content was highest in the clay (1.10%) followed by loam (0.67%) and sandy soil (0.24%); the pH of soils was sub-alkaline. Terbuthylazine, metolachlor, and mesotrione were applied on maize as a formulated product (Lumax®) at a dose of 3.5 L ha?1. Their dissipation in the treated plots was followed for 2 months after application. The concentrations of herbicides were analyzed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. The dissipation of terbuthylazine, metolachlor, and mesotrione could be described by a pseudo first-order kinetics. Terbuthylazine showed the highest DT50, followed by metolachlor and mesotrione. Considering the tested soil, the highest DT50 value was found in clay soil for terbuthylazine and metolachlor, whereas for mesotrione there was no difference among soils. Significant differences were found between the two soil depths for terbuthylazine and metolachlor, whereas none were found for mesotrione. These results suggest that soil texture and depth have a strong influence on the dissipation of terbuthylazine and metolachlor, whereas no influence was observed on mesotrione because of its chemical and physical properties. 相似文献

利用新型炭滤-砂滤工艺对南方湿热地区微污染源水进行中试规模的微絮凝实验研究。结果表明,接触絮凝时间为2~5 min时,投加1.0 mg/L的PAC微絮凝效果最好。运行稳定后,砂滤器出水浊度≤0.1 NTU,对COD Mn的去除效果有一定改善,微型水生生物的种类和数量也较炭滤器有大幅度下降,其中双层砂滤的效果优于单层粗砂,但其水头损失增长较快。通过微絮凝,砂滤器对炭滤器反冲洗后初滤水能有较好处理效果,可有效简化运行工艺。同时可保证滤后水中铝含量满足《生活饮用水卫生标准》的要求。 相似文献

以广州某水厂源水为处理对象,研究在曝气生物滤池(BAF)+常规工艺中砂滤池的净水效果。研究表明,砂滤池出水CODMn、NH4+-N的平均值分别为1.19 mg/L和0.08 mg/L;相对于沉淀池出水,砂滤池对上述指标的平均去除率分别为27.41%和63.86%;砂滤池出水NO2--N几乎检测不出。砂滤池对分子量(10 K的溶解性有机物有较好的去除作用;砂滤池中DO下降了1.80 mg/L,分析表明在砂滤池中发生了完全硝化反应。 相似文献

制备了4种改性铁覆膜砂,并对其吸附性能进行了全面的实验,分析比较了4种改性剂的作用和效果.实验中发现,添加改性剂对铁覆膜砂吸附性能的促进作用各不相同,改性剂和铁氧化物的性质共同决定了改性铁覆膜砂的性质.吸附等温线和连续动态过滤实验结果表明,活性炭和硅藻土对提高铁覆膜砂吸附性能有促进作用,但膨润土和粉煤灰的作用不明显,甚至还可能降低吸附容量.活性炭改性铁覆膜砂的吸附等温式符合Langmuir模型,硅藻土改性铁覆膜砂、膨润土改性铁覆膜砂和粉煤灰改性铁覆膜砂对Langmuir模型和Freundlich模型都有较好的相关性.改性铁覆膜砂对天然有机物(NOM)的吸附属于单分子层吸附,吸附的主要机理为静电相互作用、配位交换-表面络合作用和疏水/憎水作用等.溶液pH值对改性铁覆膜砂吸附NOM有很大的影响,表现为低"pH值去除效率高,高pH值去除效率低"的特点,其变化规律取决于添加物质的性质.磷酸盐会和腐殖酸在改性铁覆膜砂表面产生竞争吸附,磷酸盐对粉煤灰改性铁覆膜砂的吸附能力影响最大. 相似文献

废铸砂是铸造工业在金属制品的生产过程中次生出来的一种细颗粒固体废弃物。研究其作为一种资源进行合理再利用是当前处置废铸砂、保护生态环境的良好对策。本文对废铸砂的环境特征、物理性质及废铸砂作为建筑材料在多种建筑制品及工程中的资源化再利用进行了综述研究,涉及的再利用领域包括混凝土、热拌沥青混合料、低强度填料、水泥、路基、路堤、阻水帷幕(屏障)和衬垫。调查发现,次生于黑色金属(铁和钢)铸造生产线的废铸砂是一种无害固体废弃物,正确处置和科学利用,对环境不会产生二次污染,在以上建筑制品及工程中的应用能满足相关技术、性能要求,可以替代相关的材料进行资源化再利用。 相似文献

The behavioral distribution of the atmospheric turbulence flow over the terrain with changes in a rough surface has become one of the most important topics of air pollution research, among such other topics as transportation and dispersion pollutants. In this study, a computational model on atmospheric turbulence flow over a terrain hill shaped with rough surface was investigated under neutral atmospheric conditions. The flow was assumed to be 2D and modeled using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models, which were numerically solved using Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations. Rough surface conditions were modeled using a number of windbreak fences regularly spaced on the hill. The mean velocity and turbulent structures such as turbulence intensity and turbulent kinetic energy were investigated in the upwind and downwind regions over the hill, and the numerical models were validated against the wind-tunnel results to optimize the turbulence model. The computational results agreed well with the results obtained from the wind tunnel experiments. The computational results indicate that the mean velocity was observed to increase dramatically around the crest of the upwind slope of the hill. A thick internal boundary layer was observed with a fence on the crest and downwind region of the hill. The reversed flow and recirculation zone were formed in the wake region behind the hill. It was thus determined that turbulent kinetic energy decreases as the mean velocity increases. 相似文献

Abstract Potatoes were grown from cut seed in Plainfield sand treated in‐furrow with disulfoton (Di‐Syston 15G, 3.36 kg Al/ha) in 1983 and from whole seed in similarly treated loam in 1991. Soils were contained in 2 m2 field plots. Soil, seed potato and foliage were analyzed for the insecticide and its sulfoxide and sulfone metabolites during the 8–12 wk following planting. Disulfoton disappeared at different rates from the two soils (ksand=0.024 day‐1, kloam=0.056 day‐1) with partial conversion to the sulfoxide and sulfone in both. Larger quantities of the three insecticidal components were absorbed by the seed potato in the cut‐seed/sand combination. The relative amounts of these components in the seed potato also differed between treatments with disulfoton being the largest component of the cut‐seed/sand and smallest in the whole‐seed/loam. Disulfoton sulfoxide and sulfone were the major insecticidal components of the foliage and concentrations in the initial foliage (each ca. 10 ppm) were similar for both treatments. Sulfoxide concentrations in the foliage decreased more rapidly than the sulfone and the decrease in concentration of each of the components was similar for the two treatments. 相似文献

天然锰砂是一种廉价、高效的水处理用材料,但尚未用于水中砷的去除。实验研究了反应时间、砷形态、初始砷浓度、温度、溶液初始pH对吸附过程的影响。结果表明,天然锰砂对As(Ⅲ)的吸附能力大于As(Ⅴ)。25℃时,固液比为10 g/L的条件下,天然锰砂对初始浓度为5.0 mg/L的砷溶液吸附过程经72 h基本达到平衡,平衡时对As(Ⅲ)和As(Ⅴ)的去除率分别达到94.5%和85.9%。吸附过程符合Lagergren准一级反应动力学模型和假二级反应动力学模型。相比之下,假二级动力学模型拟合程度更高。对As(Ⅲ)和As(Ⅴ),45℃时的吸附量均大于25℃时。不同温度下,天然锰砂对As(Ⅲ)和As(Ⅴ)的吸附过程更符合Freundlich等温吸附模型。在溶液初始pH为3~10范围内,锰砂对砷的吸附能力受pH的影响较小。实验结果表明,天然锰砂是一种具有实际应用潜力的除砷材料。 相似文献

Sand-trapping fences modify the character of the coastal landscape and change its spatial structure, image, and meaning. This
paper examines the relationship between these changes and fence usage at the municipal level, where most decisions about fence
deployment are made. Use of fences in 29 municipalities on the developed coast of New Jersey is examined over a 6-year period.
Interviews with municipal officers indicate that wooden slat sand-trapping fences are used primarily to build dunes to provide
protection against wave uprush and flooding, but they are also used to control pedestrian traffic and demarcate territory.
These uses result in changes in landforms and habitats. An aerial video inventory of fences taken in 2002 indicates that 82%
of the shoreline had fences and 72% had dunes. Single and double straight fence rows are the most commonly used. Fences are
often built to accomplish a specific primary purpose, but they can cause many different and often unanticipated changes to
the landscape. The effects of a sand fence change through time as the initial structure traps sand, creates a dune that is
colonized by vegetation, and becomes integrated into the environment by increasing topographic variability and aesthetic and
habitat value. Sand fences can be made more compatible with natural processes by not placing them in locations where sources
of wind blown sand are restricted or in unnatural shore perpendicular orientations. Symbolic fences are less expensive, are
easy to replace when damaged, are less visually intrusive, and can be used for controlling pedestrian access. 相似文献
